Luminescence

Luminescence began as a dream over a year ago. I bought the Moonstones from a supplier and there they sat, on my table for 6-7 months. I started sketching some basic ideas, but again months passed before i started the actual creation process.

While i typically hand fabricate projects like this something called me to carve and sculpt this pendant. I hand carved this pendant in wax and cast in 14k yellow gold. 

accented with approx 0.7 cts of natural vs1 diamonds. 

moonstone weight 4.43cts- Madagascar. Rainbow moonstone is in the Feldspar family. The full name is Moonstone Labradorite Feldspar- this recent discovery in Madagascar is some of the finest to ever come out of the ground.
